Hypochlorite

Postby guppykeeper » Mon Apr 30, 2012 5:11 pm

Hi all! I'm new to fish keeping hobby. I just found out that the water treatment facility puts sodium hypochlorite in my drinking water. I think they said 12 %. How do I get rid of it for my fish in my 75 gallon tank? All answers are appreciated...Thanks :)

Sodium Hypochlorite is often what is used to Chlorinate tap water

Your dechlorinater/water conditioner will suffice :)

Thanks Mike, Pheeww! I've been trying to find the answer to that for a long time. Its almost like noone else but our town has this in their water supply. Now at least I know that a normal dechlorinator will do the trick. Thanks again :D
