german blue rams

Postby cheapchickens » Mon Apr 09, 2012 12:42 am

hi, i have 2 rams, male and female, unsure which is which. when we had them they appeared to be a pair but now one is showing aggressive behaviour towards the other. its moods are up and down, swimming with other ram one minute the next charging across tank to ram it when it spots it. strange. the tank is 350 litres so its not a space issue and they have loads of hiding places which they do share . any idea whats going on??? is it normal??

Females have a pink belly. If neither has this you could have 2 geezers. I had 2 in my tank and the one chased the other around a lot.

on blue rams the first few rays on the dorsal fin tend to be more extended on the males.
