Will rams be okay?

Postby ChrisJ95 » Sat Sep 29, 2012 11:18 am

I have recently upgraded my community tank, but have become interested in cichlids. However, my tank will only be suitable for a dwarf variety, I particularly l ike rams. My tankhas plenty of hiding places and a rock cave. My question is, I have a betta and some small corydoras catfish (3 of them) will these be a problem? Thanks for any advice, the health and happiness of fish should always come above what we want to put together...

The corys would be fine but not the Betta. They like a different pH and hardness to the rams and the rams would love the flowing fins on the betta.

Okay, thank you :) will have to tour my lfs asking lots of questions, it seems that bettas. can be quite a limiting factor when choosing tankmates :/
