pleco has died one day i went to my room and he was on his side dead :( I knew he might not make it he couldnt get any food the other fish ate it b4 he could get even at night! and his fins were going away either of finrot or the convict was biting at him whenever he went out to feed. just leting u guys know, and that im still here this is a good site(my computer screen broke for a week until i got a new 1.).

I'm guessing from your tank description that you also own an OSCAR! If he is of any size (larger than your Pleco) i bet he is the KILLER! I used to own an OSCAR, he was the most beautiful fish with an amazing personality. The only prob was he killed every fish i ever introduced him to including 2 razor guarded Pictus Cats which were bigger than him. He never actually devoured them just mauled them to death! :|

I take it from what you have wrote that you weren't feeding the plec with algae pellets etc?
No more fish for the time being :( so hope to return to it next year :)
