I'm looking at getting either one of these little guys, are they ok on their own ? Are they ok in with cory's and a bristlenose plec

The pictus should be fine but I have no experience with the other so can't advise. Reading a bit though it appears to be from L Tanganyika so prefers a more alkaline, rocky tank than the corys and BNs

I have two pictus with 3 peppered cory's and they get on great, feeding time is a bit mental with the pictus doing the 100m dash full pelt from one side of the tank to the other but in general they are fine with each other

I know what you mean, they have all settled in really well but come feeding time the pics wait for no fish - super little guys though
