Talking Catfish (Won't eat & White stuff coming out off it)

Postby UK-Dude » Mon Jul 16, 2012 10:15 pm

Hello all,
I have got a talking catfish that i had now about 2 weeks. He is in a 230 litre tank and as many things to hide in.
I never see him go about and he never eats. I only this min can see on him some white stuff coming out off is body. what i don't know what it is!
Do they have white stuff coming out the body in anyway to back fish off?

I don't know what to do!
He moves when fishs go up to him and you can see his eyes move.

What is best to do?

Thank you for your help :)

It is my understanding these fish are more nocturnal so you won't see it out and about much during the ay, or when the lights are on.
Depending on where the 'white stuff' is coming from, it could be poo. Poo will be different colours depending on what the fish has been eating.

If he hasn't been eating (and they only need feeding twice a week from what I have read, depending on which species you have) that might explain the white poo (if it is poo)
