Hide / Cave for Zebra loaches

Postby peter212693 » Tue Oct 09, 2012 8:34 pm

Hi all,

I got 6 zebra loaches at the weekend and while they all seem happy they are all huddled together in one ship ornament. Im looking to get something else for them but im stuck. Theres soo much choice which is best?

Ceramic tubes, slate cave, plastic cave, drilled wood?

Any help would be great!

Thanks

a piece of bogwood would make a natural cover for em.

maybe propped up by a few stones to provide a cave scenario...

many places of cover will make them feel more relaxed, then you should see more of them.

i've made slate caves for my tank....both by stacking them up loosely and using silicone to make a permanant cave.this was the aquarium safe silicone.bought for about £4 on ebay.....( other online shops are available)

How many plants do you have? These fish love playing and hiding in them.
