Albino is a colour morph. Which species of Plec were you thinking of?

Not sure what species - just called albino plec as far as I know.

I bought it yesterday and the lady in the LFS assured me that it won't grow larger than 6inches (which is good for me as I don't want it any bigger than this).

But having looked on the internet today to find out more info I'm worried that I've bought a giant-in-waiting.

Was hoping you guys could give me a steer on it ?

Ask any racer, any real racer. It doesn't matter if you win by an inch or a mile; winning's winning.

What kind of skin problems do people with albinism have? I'm doing some research for a project on genetics, and I was wondering what sort if specific problems do people with albinism have. I know they burn easily and are at risk for skin cancer, and obviously they are pale, but is there anything I'm missing?

We are a fish forum. If you want to discuss human genetics I suggest you ask elsewhere. Albino fish have different problems to humans.
