So i have a dinosaur bichir in my 30 gallon tank right now that is about 7" long and about half to 3/4" in width. and i just added a silver tipped shark (Arius jordani). didn't know much about these guys but wanted another fish and he was it. anybody know much about these guys, not finding too much online that i can use. i know they get sick real easy and need salt or something but i have read that some people dont even put salt in their tank and the fish does just fine?

well mine is a Polypterus senegalus and he is about 7" long and about 3/4" thick. and i have been told they can get up to over 20" long if not longer!! mine is only about 1 1/2 years old and i think they can live up to 20+ years.
