White Cloud Mountain minnows.

Postby chickenlady » Thu Mar 08, 2018 2:06 pm

Would love to have some of these in our aquaium but the temperature is set to 26 degrees. We already have platys, a couple of cherry barbs and a small bristlenose - all are doing really well. But....would the minnows be ok at 26 as I've read they should be kept at around 22 degrees. Anyone out there keep theirs at the slightly higher temperature? Advice much appreciated.

They will tolerate a wide range of temperatures and can be kept at 26C but won't live as long as they would in colder temperatures.
I found my WCMMs were more colourful at higher temperatures yet a friend said his were more colourful at colder temperatures :?
