it is quite funny....and that's what a lot of people don't get...they think..."they're just fish"......just coz you can't pet them don't mean they arent characters by any means.

talking of the plec....i did a water change today and put the cave back on flat ground and he went straight in as i refilled the tank(put it up before i joined the forum)...so fingers crossed i am forgiven :P

havnt been on here much as i.ve been a tad busy with bits & bobs....but a couple of weeks ago i visited devon cliffs resort with family,....i picked up a few large stone/pebbles and am going to try and make standing features,i want the stones to appear balanced upright by rodding in the stone....but my first attempt failed as a masonary bit just wont drill as the pebbles are too hard,so have now ordered a diamond drill piece to see if that'll cut through,........fingers crossed and i'll keep yall posted becase if i manage to do it i think it'll look tops! :P

It's a sad time.....my plec has died,I have had it for nearly 10 years from when I rescued it from a very small tank not sure how long exactly he had it for but i think it was over 7years(trying to contact previous owner). Couldn't bring myself to flush him (I thought he deserved a bit better plus being a foot long I didnt want it to get stuck) so buried him in the garden.

RIP big guy!

Time to update as its been so long, I'm going green!! I have a mixture of easy keep plants on order to try out and remove some/all of the fakeryand future plans of adding sand substrate(undecided of exactly which yet)for a contrast...pebble& sand seems a nice look...any ways...hopefully will be picking up a show stopper piece of bog wood,so lots exciting things in the pipeline! Here's the bog wood(sorry about the pic it's the best I can do till I pick it up)
