Where do you plan getting them from? Still thinking (or 'faffing') about exactly what I will do with my tank. Probably have a couple of months to make up my mind, but as soon as I am redundant I was to get cracking on decorating and tank sorting.

Maidenhead aquatics in Bridgend. I know Chris the manager well as he used to be manager of Llantrisant store. He is the one who advised me when setting up my marine. He will order them for me when I'm ready. He is such a nice guy he even told me Monday to hold off on anymore plants until today, when the new stock arrive, also told me when to arrive so I got 1st pick.

the actual place is on the bridgend industrial estate. on the bottom road opposite the old Sony plant. In the countrywide store.

It's looking good Stuart, i think that background adds a bit of depth to it................and a good choice for stocking too :wink:


I was thinking 'wow the plants have grown quick' but then i realised you've added some more :lol:

I have decided not to have the apisto's but go for5 zebra loaches instead, with 15 cardinals.

I like the look of them and by what I have read they are quite amusing to watch. They are good for keeping snail populations under control. Went and bought 5 black phantom tetra yesterday 3 female 2 male, they have settled in and chasing each other all over the tank.
going to take loads of pics with my new camera and see how it all works, or I'll do a video and post that.
