neon tetras

Hi,
have just purchased some neon tetras, also have rummy nose and corydoras in 300 litre aquarium I am going to buy discus to add to tank sometime, my temperature is 82 degrees is this to high for the fish I have purchased so far, any advice would be appreciated thanks

Hi,

I would say the temperature is at the upper end for those tetras, but they should be fine as long as the water is well oxygenated. For Corydoras, it depends on the species, as they come from a wide-ranging area of South America so some are more tolerant of higher temperatures than others, many are happier at the mid-lower end of the tropical range.

many thanks for advice have lowered temperature to 80 degrees to be on the safe
