Jzaine - yup it's the rainbow shark, the black tail's are too huge...
David - I'm hearing you...if I ended up with both and it went wrong I do have an 'emergency' tank...
Jacob - you said what I wanted to hear! now that doesn't happen often when I attempt stocking lists...hehe

As an alternative what do they think of bristle nose catfish?

When introducing possible conflicting species what's the best way to do it? Introduce the more peaceful followed by the more violent or both at once?

I would introduce any more agressive species last. If you introduce them first they may establish a territory and then resent any new invaders by trying to extricate them from its territory.

Just because you can doesnt always mean you should!
