Anyone Keeping North American Natives

Some years ago I used to work with a guy who used to travel over to the USA from the south coast of England to collect North American native fish. I remember him giving talks about his collecting trips at the local aquarist society. Don't know anyone else in the UK who keeps native North american fish, though.

They are illegal in my country so no, nobody here keeps them.
We have our own natives though some are protected and not allowed to be kept in aquaria.
