PANDA MOORS?

Postby cobden28 » Wed Jan 25, 2012 10:49 pm

At a visit to my local fish shop earlier this week I noticed a new variety of goldfish that i've not ever seen before, 'panda moors'; at first I thought they all had some sort of skin infection as they had large white patches on their bodies and fins, but I realised that they were meant to be that way.

I always thought that Moors as a goldfish variety were meant to be black all over with no other colour! Has anyone come across this strange new goldfish variety before, and what do you think of it? Personally I thought they were rather ugly; if i were to be keeping fancy goldfish again I'd prefer the plain black Moors.

Black moors are meant to be jet black all over. They are ugly enough, in my opinion, without making them with white patches! I think someone is cashing in on the love of pandas at the moment
