Hi there,
This is my first post on here although I have used the site for advice on many occasions!
I am having a big problem with my tropical fish. My tank is approx 10 gallon.
I started off with 5 tetras. Then I added a plec, 4 guppies and 4 mollies. First of all a couple of my tetras died followed by a guppy. Now all I have left is my plec, mollies and possibly 2 tetras although think it's just one and it's not looking too hot now either. Also, in-between all the deaths I added a clown loach as I had a snail infestation.
I do a water change every 10 days to 2 weeks. I have live plants within the tank.
After doing a water change this morning my levels are:
GH - 120
KH - 40
PH - 6.5
NO2 - 0.5
NO3 - 80 - this is higher than it has been before and is normally about 20.
Could over-feeding be the problem with the fish loss?
Any help on this matter would be much appreciated because I don't want to lose any more fish and don't want to add any more until I know what the problem is.
