:( Just lost my last loach this morning all tha water changing + treatment ----no avail----tank looking empty but I'm not in rush to replace.Just sad having to watch them suffer + trying my damnest to help them. :( THANKS for help. Gill

Sorry it didn't work out. :(

It's not the first time this has happened to someone with new stock. A quarantine tank is cheap to set up -- just a plain small tank with no light, a little filter and heater. Tucks away in a cupboard when it's not in use and the sponge goes into the main tank filter to keep it cycled.

:oops: NEVER used to do that but the more I read how things are done these days is shocking.I never realised how ££££ grabbing business this is BUT i suppose it is also all of our own making---want to see beautiful fish + to have????
It also puts me to shame for being so naive. So now i will look after the ones i have I REFUSE to buy from pet shops --maybe breed and do swappsy.Thanks for your help and best of luck to all fish keepers.Gill
