Siamese fighter stuck on filter

Postby Stuieuieuieo » Fri Jul 06, 2012 6:05 pm

My Siamese fighter keeps getting stuck on the filter on the inlet and I keep having to turn it off to let him off, is this normal? Or is he sick? :(

If the current is not too strong (fighters don't cope with much current) then I would say it is sick.

You're right they're all ill though, came home from my mates this morning and all of my shrimp are dead and non of the fish are looking happy, did a water change earlier today and then came home and it doesn't look good, water is cloudy, PH is 7 and ammonia, nitrates and nitrites are all coming up as 0 on the tank :/ in the tank is 5 neon tetras a Siamese fighter and 6 Amano shrimp (now all dead) anyone any ideas? Don't know much about fish illness

Is this the tank the Angel was in or a different one?
What happened with your pH thing?

Nah it's a separate smaller tank, I bought some of those buffer salts and it sits about 7 now
