Bristlenose Plec Problem....... Please Help

Can anyone help with identifying what my plec has? I dont believe it to be white spot or a fungus..... but any help greatly appreciated.

Mine often went splotchy like that, as did those belonging to others. We decided it was just a mood thing and normal. It does not seem to bother them.

my bristlenose and my old huge common plec did this all the time...seems to be a mood thing....it will change soon,if not check ya water levels just in case..but should be fine :)

Thanks for the replies, got a bit worried as it was something I'd never seen before, only other thought was it was some algae or similar which had rubbed off. Only thing against that theory is it was hanging around for too long.

Sorry to hear that. No other symptoms? As said, those colour changes are usually normal or a sign of mood. Perhaps it is also a sign that all is not well although none of my BNs died after gaining such patches.

No other symptoms. It was feeding as normal and moving about fine! Since found out from my local fish shop theat it was a Bactria infection. Least its known for next time. Thanks for everyone's commnts.
