Angelfish Fry

Postby Eytropicalover » Sat Mar 09, 2013 10:42 am

A pair of our angelfish laid on a tile in main aquarium on 25th Feb
we removed the tile to a fresh tank (water as in main tank)
Air line in and methylene blue. Most of the eggs hatched and we
Put in a sponge filter
When they started to swim free began feeding Hikari first bite
30% water changes every day
Yesterday morning all found dead and stuck to sponge filter
All had white "fluffy" stuff on them. Any help would be appreciated

I know nothing about Hikari First Bites but everyone I know who has successfully bred and raised angelfish have used microworms and/or newly hatched shrimp naupli.
How often were you feeding? They need little bits often ie at least 4x daily. Feeding too much less often can cause a nitritional deficiency.
I found this site has a lot of information for you.
