cloudy water

hi, its me again, the water has gone cloudy again, this is happening about once a week, i am doing nothing differant, its just clear one day then cloudy the next morning , please help :(

Hi there, sorry about this, but we're gonna need a few more details if possible.

Now from your previous thread, the tank is 40g with "a mix of sordtail tetras tigers pecs and one very fat cat fish" is that still right?

Have you got test kits for ammonia, nitrite and nitrate? Can you post test results for these please?

Have you done any more water changes?
How are the fish behaving now?

Most importantly, don't panic, cloudy water often occurs in a cycling tank, it can still occur in a well established tank if something upsets the biological balance. :wink:

Is it going cloudy after a water change or something else specific?
