I started with a very small tank, I copied a theme i saw in a magazine of white cloud mountain minnows. just put a thin sandy substrate, some rounded stones/pebbles and quite a fast flow from the filter. It doesnt need to be very hot either. I thought it looked great. If i can find any, i will try to get some pics of how mine was.
Good luck!!

If you have no idea I don't think we will be much help!
20L is very small so you will be restricted in your choice anyway. A single male Siamese fighter, white cloud mountain minnows, cherry barbs, a trio of small killifish, male guppies.
