Hi

What is the recommended length of time to keep new fish in a quarantine tank?

Thanks

Absolute minimum 2 weeks. I now do mine for a month just to be sure. You dont want your other fish dying just for the sake of keeping the new ones in a separate tank for a few weeks. I had a die off when I added some neons that had been qaurantined for 2 weeks they seemed fine, but when I put them in the main tank nearly everything died except for 2 fish, a pleco & a khuli loach.

Thanks for your reply Ssscrudddy, I definitely don't want to risk anything going wrong, so I want to be sure before I add them, just wasn't sure how long 'long enough' is.
