Hey,

The female guppys are almost certainly pregnant, do you have males with them? if so then definately also they can have several broods off one mating, I think its usually just under a month between each lot of fry being born, usually the females appear a bit rounder and the gravid spot gets bigger when they are getting closer to dropping the fry but i'm no good at guessing how long it is likely to be.

Hi

I wasn't sure if me guppy was pregnant, but do now. I'm sure I saw a fry get chased and hid under the rock. Will they be alright hiding under the rock and root?

Hi,

It depends how many guppies you want 1 or 2 may survive hiding in rocks etc which would mean your chances of being overrun are less, however if you want to try and save a few floating plants are the best but for example if 8-10 are surviving from each drop. Then after a few months they soon add up :) I try to find a balance by keeping more or less floating plants.

Hope this helps
