Postby IndianoAnnie » Tue Dec 11, 2012 7:31 pm

hi,

I have had red cherry shrimp for about 7-8 weeks and i just have a few questions to anyone who knows much about them.

1. Are their eggs supposed to be green/yellow as all of mine are at some stage (1 died last week, dono why?)

2. how oftern should i feed, at the min in feeding them a a few pellets every 4 days and i recently put an indian leaf in too, am i feeding too much or little?
thanks for any help
Thanks,
Annie :)

Yes, they can vary in colour, often brownish, even seen white, it's dependent on the exact strain of shrimp

Depends on how many shrimp you have and what else is in the tank for them to munch on (plants etc.)

Nice colony you have there :)

Maybe try a few more pellets, you will soon know if you are feeding too much when you see them left lying around uneaten
