Lighting for 24 litre plants?

Postby AquaticRabbit » Thu Dec 05, 2013 12:17 am

Hi everyone, so I want to do a big makeover of my 24 litre tank so it is an iwagumi sort of style. I noticed the carpeting plants that I wanted to keep (eleocharis parvula and marsilea quadrifolia) need medium to high lighting. I was going to change the lighting anyway, because all I have is a spotlight lamp that I can't angle well enough so that it doesn't melt the tank's rim plastic, so it's kept to the side. What lighting do I need for this tank and where can I get it? My options are lighting strips with suckers or clip on lamps (my tank only has a plastic sheet type lid).

Thanks in advance and I hope you can help :)

I have seen a really nice clip on led light appear on the market over the last few months that might be suitable for your tank.
Aquaessentials sell them and for the price it looks like a good starting point.

there's always one
