New blue moonlights

Postby peter212693 » Thu Aug 23, 2012 8:41 pm

Hello all,

Ive managed to fit my new blue moonlights to my tank. Using a strip of blue leds attached to the hood. What do you think...? :)

The lighting looks good but, since you asked for an opinion, the decor is not to my taste. When I look at a tank, I should notice the fish first, not unnatural coloured plants and decorations. Having said that though, to each his own and if you like it and the fish are happy then that is all that matters
A lot seem to be installing the moonlights and LED's these days. They are becoming very popular.
Do you have them set on some sort of cycle so they come on at different times?

I have the day lights on 5pm - 11pm. If im up past 11pm I will turn them on just before the lights go out untill I go to bed. I will probably set a timer up for them soon though.
