help with lighting please

I've got a jewel rekord 800 aquarium with 2 daylight tubes 18 w with reflectors is this enough light for plants or do I need to upgrade them to more powerful

Although they're only T8 tubes, two of them with reflectors should be enough to grow a decent range of plants in that size aquarium.

You might struggle with some, such as more demanding carpeting plants, but then you tend to need CO2 as well for that type of plant.

The classic low-light plants like Java Fern, Java Moss and Anubias would be fine, as would many medium light plants such as Cryptocoryne and Amazon Swords, as well as many stem plants like Hygrophila, Limnophila, Cabomba, Ludwigia, etc.
