Details: https://www.facebook.com/events/1415521421810063/

Hampshire Aquascaping and Fish are taking over this huge music venue for a day long fishkeeping event.

George Farmer The Aquascaper will be doing one of his fantastic talks as well as scaping a tank from his new signature Aquascaper range - that you will get a chance to win at the end of the day.

UK PREMIER of Tannin Aquatics products with a full range of gorgeous botanicals on sale to help you achieve that "tint" - the key to keeping and breeding many softwater species such as apistos and bettas.

OPEN FISH AUCTION - livebearers, home-bred catfish and cichlids, we'reopen to all types of high quality fish & plants. Prior registration is required and we reserve the right to refuse certain lots (for example, large common plecs, poor quality pet-shop guppies). To ensure high standards of welfare, all fish bags must be transported in appropriate insulated boxes. Extras will be available on the day for a small fee.

A glimpse into wild fish collection and Apistogramma & Discus biotopes with tropical ecologist Mark Beeston sharing images from his recent trip to Colombia with the legendary Heiko Bleher.

Know anyone who just can't house that catfish, oscar, common goldfish any more, but can't afford a larger tank? Or who just doesn't have the time or money with busy lives and rising electricity bills? WE WILL REHOME YOUR UNWANTED PETS, NO QUESTIONS ASKED. Entry in to the main event is not required to hand in a fish.

The bar will be open all day for a pint and a chat with other hobbyists or a mug of tea.

Raffle prizes are in the commenst section and include heaps of goodies from Dennerle, Tropica and Tannin Aquatics. Giveaways from FishScience& more speakers and raffle prizes to be announced soon!

Hampshire Aquascaping and Fish is hobbyist run and receives no funding, so please share this event and invite anyone you think may be interested.

Portsmouth Aquarist Society will also be in attendance, please visit our stand.

Your support is greatly appreciated.

Tickets are £5 available on the door, very young children go free.
