Male Livebearers

Postby PeterK » Fri Dec 26, 2014 3:22 pm

Hello All,
As you may have read elsewhere, my first tank for 40-odd years is (hopefully) going through a planted, fishless cycle. (Although that was not the original plan.....). So, I am obviously whiling away Boxing Day planning the fish! The Plan has changed often, so here is my latest, with a couple of questions.
Juwel Rio 125L with a lot of gravel, stone & 50+ plants. PH 7.4

2 male platies
2 male guppies
5 panda corys
5-10 neons
5 oto or zebra loaches
Will the male livebearers be OK together, and would the Zebra loaches destroy the plants ?
Thanks as always,
Peter

Male livebearers are fine together. It is when you add females that the trouble starts.
Zebra loaches are more plant friendly than some other loaches and like a well planted aquarium.
