discus fish clamped fin and white patches

brought some discus fish 4 days ago and noticed one has a clamped fin, and white patches on side of body, would raising temperature from 82 to 84, solve the problem, I have some waterlife white spot and fungus treatment but not sure what to do any advice would be really appreciated thanks

You could raise the temp a little more if you currently have it at 82F as mentioned in your other reply - it would be better to keep to the same thread for related questions otherwise you might get asked the same background questions over and over if others don't know the history.

The white patches could just be excess mucus, but in combination with clamped fins then velvet/slime disease is a possibility - Waterlife white spot treatment should treat this too, so although it's not always ideal to treat without a definite diagnosis, it wouldn't do any harm to run a course of the Waterlife treatment given that they are recent additions and you probably can't be sure they were disease free at the source.
