I think yours is the first post here for many months. It is dead as a dodo.
I check in every now and then on the off chance someone posted but otherwise don't bother.
Fish keeping has been pretty much on the back burner for me since I got off our FNZAS executive and resigned as editor.
I have the one 4ft tropical plus large pond, both self sustaining. Lost interest.
4ft is mostly Odessa barbs and Ancistrus and plants are C affinis, Anubius nana, dwarf sag, a bit of Java fern & moss plus red rotala.
Dad is fine now thanks but has Alzheimers so the house move has been a bit confusing for him. Heart attack was mild and just a couple of nights in ICU. Mum had her pre-med today before cataract surgery so it is all go here!
At least they are now only a couple of kms from me and between me and the CBD so easier to pick them up (neither drives and dad is no longer safe on his mobility scooter), take them into town, and get them home again. They used to live on the other side of town, which involved back tracking and about a 16km round trip so our fuel bill will drop dramatically.
I bet your kids have grown. I now have 2 grandsons so feeling older
