I've had a mosey round the forum and can't find anything about the recommended depth of substrate. Now that I'm adding live plants to our tank, I'm wondering whether I can add more gravel to help keep them in place?
Thanks! _________________ Hils

1.5 - 2" should be fine for plants. The top layer will need gravel vac'ing. What's underneath shouldn't get mucked up unless you have fish that love to dig! _________________ Becky
