After a few recent events (which are now sorted) I am going to try and breed my fighters. Am just about to put female in Breeding tank with male (separated for time being) and see what happens. If all goes well I will let her free to play with male.

This morning nothing had happend so was going to remove female for a few days. Got home from work to find that the male had built a nest so I have put the female in with the male.
He is currently chasing her away, I am keeping a close eye on them as he seems a bit to aggressive but has not damaged female in any way so will just leave for a while longer and see if he repairs the nest they have broke with all the chasing.

Well most of wednesday night I sat watching the male build up his nest try to entice the female only to chase her off again.
Did not get in till late thursday only to find I had missed as all the fun so I removed the female.

Got home from work to night and am wondering if the male is fairly young as nest has shrunk quite a bit and he has lost a good few eggs which can be seen on the floor. Looks like there not many eggs left in the nest so fingers crossed.

Just out of interest how long would it take for the female to projuce more eggs as not sure how this lot is going to turn out.

Well it is now saturday and have just noticed that the eggs have hatched but can only see a few. The male has been serching the floor (for any fallen I pressume) Was watching him as one fell down but he just swam past it so not sure how many I will end up with if any.

Got up this morning to find that I could not see any babies in the nest so just left it for most of the day but male was less and less intrested in the nest so decided to give up with it and will try at a later date.

Shame but sposse could not ask for much as not sure how old male is and also first try for me too.

Something to remeber is that if u do breed them the males will need to be split up in a few weeks or they will fight

Ya I did think about it and it all depends on how many males there are.
