i found a frog in my garden earlier. if you saw my garden you'd realize its a very strange place for a frog..... i wanted to keep it in but the mrs wouldnt let me probably for the best though....

IME i think this is a misconception. Whilst growing my family did not have a pond, nor did ANY of the neighbours. As soon as me and my brother were old enough to be responsible around the pond my dad built a 10ft x 4ft x 3ft deep pond with a 6 inch high wall around the outside...
Onto next spring and lo and behold we collected nearly 35lb's of frog spawn over the spawning season and to this date my dad still has a frog problem (i've moved out) |
