Freshwater Shrimp

Dwarf algae-eating shrimp of the genera Caridina and Neocaridina have become very popular in the aquarium hobby in recent years. Their rise in popularity has gone hand-in-hand with the increased popularity of planted aquariums and nano tanks. They are ideal inhabitants for small nano tanks, planted tanks, and community tanks containing only small and peaceful fish.
