Tank 16: 28 gal turtle tank

This tank currently houses a soft shell turtle, soon to be moved to a wider tank.

Tank Size (LxWxH) 48x12x15" (122x30x38cm)
Volume Nominal: 28 imp gallons/34 US gallons/128 litres
Actual: 24 imp gallons/29 US gallons/109 litres
Filtration Fluval 203 canister filter, Fluval 2 internal filter.
Heating Heated room plus 100W back up heater.
Lighting Low - fluorescent room lighting only.
Substrate Thin layer of aquarium sand.
Decor Smooth rocks
Background 3-D effect artificial background.
Water parameters Temp=26oC ; pH=7.0-7.2 ; GH=4 ; KH=3
30% water change every week.
Stock One soft shell turtle, approx 6" carapace length.
